Our registration for receiving funds from foreign sources and institutions that had been given in 2003, has got suspended for reasons which we can confidently say is due to a misunderstanding of facts. We have appealed for revocation of the suspension order with all documentary evidence. But in the meantime, the suspension does not allow us to use even our existing funds from foreign sources. This has affected our work deeply as 80% of our funds for education and other projects (especially related to children and adolescent girls) are supported by institutional donors from outside of India.
In over 22 years of work here in villages of Assam, we have weathered many crises and we need your help to tide over this one. Currently we can receive donations only from Indian Citizens and institutions hence we appeal to you to donate any amounts and support us.
